The handsome man in the photo is not a Hollywood star so don't spend time trying to determine who he is and what his last movie was. He is my grandson. His name is David. If you read my blog often you are familiar with David. In case you don't read often, let me give a short intro. David was due August 8, 2013. Due to medical complications, he had to be coaxed into this world May 13, 2013. He was at 27 weeks and weighed 1.4 lbs. That is him in the picture below with the pencil.
I sent out prayer requests and my readers and those of my friends came through. Literally thousands of prayers came through my computer. David?? Well he didn't know he was being prayed for, so he just kept fighting to live. One of my friends online calls him David the Might Warrior. He is that indeed.
This child is the sweetest, easiest going, best natured baby I've ever seen. No I'm not just saying that. He will go to anyone who wants to hold him. He is happy all the time. If you look at him, he just laughs. My son was told by a staff member of his church "Don't have any more. This one is perfect. If you have any more you'll mess it up." I don't know about that, but this one is precious. He cries only when something is wrong and enjoys every minute of the day. My son says, "He's just happy to be alive." So are we.
